Puja’s Performed To Remove Marriage Related Doshas

Marriages are auspicious ceremonies that mandate rituals to secure a life-long commitment among partners, and their families. Marriages involve many rites that are performed following certain rules and procedures. The ceremony should be held without any obstacles. Finding the right partner at the right time becomes difficult due to various doshas in a person’s birth chart. Of all the most prominent are the Manglik dosha, Prabal Manglik dosha, Nadi dosha, arishtguna dosha, and many more.

To get rid of such marriage doshas, Astrologer Jitubhai Pandit recommends performing the following doshas:

  • Mangal Gauri Puja
  • Nadi Dosha Nivaran Puja
  • Arisht Gun Dosha Nivaran Puja
  • Ark Vibah Puja
  • Kumbh Vivah Puja

Mangal Gauri Puja

The mantra: Sarva Mangala Maangalaye Shive Sarvaartha Saadhike Sharannye Triambake

This puja is offered to Goddess Parvati (Gauri) on Tuesdays by those who are about to get married or planning for it. Mangal Gauri Puja and Yajna are done to get a compatible and desirable soulmate and to lead a happy and prosperous life. Women can also perform the Mangala Gauri Vrat. This is done by seeking the well-being of the husband and for a peaceful married life. The effect of Manglik Dosha gets reduced. Unmarried women can perform this vrat to get a good husband.

Nadi Dosha Nivaran Puja

The Mantra: Devanch Rishinanch Garudkaanchan Sannibham Bhuddhi Bhutam Trilokesham Tanmami Bhruhaspatim Himkund Mrunalabham Devyaanam Paramadgurum Sarv Shashtra Pravamtaram Bhargavampranmamyam

Those who have Nadi Dosha suffer from decreased love and attraction in their married life. It can also lead to infertility, health-related problems, etc. To get rid of this dosha one has to perform Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yajna and Japa. Along with its chanting of the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, donating grains, clothes, and cows to the poor also decreases the ill-effect of the dosha.

Arisht Gun Dosha Nivaran Puja

The Mantra:

Shiv: Om Tattpurushaya Vidamhe, Mahadevaya Dheemahi, Tanno Rudra Prachodayat

Parvati: Om Maha Devyaysa Vidmahe, Rudra Pathneesa Dheemahi, Thanno Gauri Prachodayat

The Arisht Gun Dosha Nivaran Puja is done to remove the ill effects of Nakshatra Dosha, Nadi Dosha, Gana Dosha, and Bhakut Dosh. If a couple has Guna Dosha in their charts, the marriage is generally not recommended. But, if they are still willing to tie the knot, Arisht Gun Dosha Nivaran Puja and Yajna are recommended. It brings marital peace and brings harmony between the partners.

Ark Vibah Puja

If the male counterpart has a yoga of second marriage or has Manglik Dosha in his chart, Ark Vibah Puja is performed. This puja is performed with a Mandar plant, along with Surya and MangalJaap. The most preferred days to perform this puja are on the day of Hasta Nakshatra. Sunday’s and Saturday’s are also preferred. Performing the Puja helps remove issues related to childbirth and ensure a stable, happy marriage life.

Kumbh Vivah Puja

Kumbh Vivah Puja is similar to that of Ark Vivah Puja. Kumbh Vivah Puja is for the female counterpart having Manglik Dosha or second marriage yoga in her birth chart. The female is married to an earthen pot, with proper marriage rituals like ‘kanyadaan’ and ‘phere’. This is to remove all the obstacles getting nullified with the first marriage with a Kumbh. It helps to build a strong and stable relationship as well as remove childbirth-related issues if any.

There are lots of pujas that are performed in marriages, the above mentioned are a few pujas that are very effective in removing any obstacles that might come up later in the marriage. We all want a happy married life, if any of us suffers from some doshas it is better to perform the pujas. Astrologer Jitubhai Pandit also strongly recommends not to oversee such doshas.
